Hi, i think i got the solution to this i had a dout it was an issue related to the drivers, so this is what i tried and it worked on both my tablets, after you unzip the oem files there ia a file named items.itm open it in notepad++ or i think any text editor should work,
goto line 226 #touch screen
change line 227 #ts.model auto --> ts.model auto
change line 228 ts.model gslx680 --> #ts.model gslx680
and save this file and follow the steps to create the sccard using IUW from the document if the sccard has already been prepared using diskman else follow the whole guide, and that should do it.

(You just remove # from line 227 and insert # in 228)

I have a new tablet. Its currently stuck on bootscreen. It goes as far as android screen for coule of mins then reboots again. I suspect its corrupted firmware. Have tried the reset button on back with no success. Im looking for a suitable rom to try reflashing the tablet.

I've received this new tablet three weeks ago, and after two days of very light using I experienced the same problem as you.

After sending couple of messages and mails, today I finally managed to get in contact with someone from Shenzhen Ele Technology. She gave me this link - http://www.ele-china.com/soft/tablet...it900_v1.9.rar - and said there is no manual for firmware updating.

I've googled a bit and find this topic.

As I can't download spiranis's translated doc, managed to find a decent online translating tool.
TF card is mentioned there. Firmware updating is not possible without it?

For the first try, changed lines 227 i 228 in items.itm -> touchscreen didn't work
Second try - didn't change anything in items.itm -> touchscreen did work

Sorry for late reply, I was on holiday...


Ok, these are the steps.

1) You need SD/TF card for updating the firmware. 4 or 8 GB capacity will do just fine.
2) From the URL - http://www.ele-china.com/soft/tablet/9inch/DualCore/ - download this file: OEM_it900_v1.9.rar ... Unpack it.
3) Download this file - https://www.dropbox.com/s/6lmj40yb4h...installing.rar ... Unpack it. It includes:
- Diskman
- IUW
- manual
4) Follow the first part of manual - formatting and building a new partition on SD/TF card. For this operation, you are going to use program Diskman.
5) Follow the second part of manual - making an upgrade card. Note: For this operation, you are going to use program IUW. I didn't complete the operation on Windows 7 operating system, so I suggest you use Win XP.
6) If upgraded card is ready ( step 4) successfully done ), shut your tablet off, insert card, and turn your tablet on. Firmware updating will start automatically.
