At the moment I have Beelink X2 H3 (AllWinner) tv box. It is a decent box for the price but I have some problems with hardware acceleration on some videos in Kodi. For example when I play some video with hw acceleration on I get only audio with blank screen. People on Kodi forum said that Kodi has no support for Allwinner SoC and that they cannot help me with that.
So, now I want to try Amlogic SoC, to see will it perform better. But I have now doubts. Will I buy some android box with older, proven, S812 or newer S905 which is, as I understand, upgrade of cheaper S805.
