MK908 default resolution on Finless 1.5 ROM

Hi guys,

I've flashed my MK908 with the 1080p kernel & boot version of the Finless 1.5 ROM however I'm finding that the default resolution on boot is always 720p. If I manually change it to 1080p then reboot it always reverts back to 720p. I've not used one of these devices before, is this normal ? Is there a way of keeping the resolution set to 1080p ?

Any advice appreciated, it's obviously not a deal breaker but it'd be nice if it could be resolved. Thanks in advance for your help and congratulations on a great community.

On boot the stick reads your EDID and set resolution based on what your TV says.
But understand a bad cable can cause EDID not to be read and thus it defaults to 720.
