Pipo U3 RileyROM 1.0

This is based on the first firmware update released by Pipo on 3-3-13.


This ROM is:

Rooted
Debloated
Init.d support
Busybox links added
2, 4, 6, or 8 gig user app space by choosing the appropriate parameter file.

EDIT: It has been a while since I updated this ROM. It was based on very early methods while I was learning to cook ROM's.

Hi,
Nice rom, thanks mate. everything is working great.
however, CWM not working, when I click reboot just hangs at bootloader stage.
tried twice installing, did not work.
is there any solution?

Pipo U3 RileyROM 1.0

I have had so much trouble getting CWM working, from now on I'm sticking with stock recovery unless there is one for that tablet.

Yes I tries that as well, it boot to recovery mode but when select reboot option in CWM , it wont .
just reboot to CWM again.

U3 build.prop

Hey all - could someone please send me/post a build.prop file for the U3 ? I suspect this has the correct lines in it to enable us over on the M9Pro section to get the phones working as this one is already up & running. I have searched high & low on the internet and cannot find anything that tells us what lines to add/edit to get it running, although I have found one line foe data only which we can try - but all the telephony and ro.ril lines are missing. Thanks in advance!!

Thanks. Go to device/system/ you will find the file there. You should be able to attach it to your message. Kind regards, colin. Simply use a file explorer to copy paste to a place you can attach the file. Sdcard?

Hey Katanayi, I checked the build.prop file you gave me and it is almost exactly the same as my one! Question for you - is your U3 enabled as a phone, or is it only WiFi? I think only WiFi ? If you could please confirm for me that would be great. Cheers, Colin.

It's been a while since I gave any love for this ROM. Back in June, I was still learning things...a lot of things.

At the request of Kunar1, I did a complete redo of this ROM with my new kitchen with some added features.

1. Auto Install from External SD added (see this thread for details on Auto Install)
2. Increased wifi power
