    Minix Neo X7 as an Ubuntu server

    I'm planning to install lbuntu and run subsonic and airvideo server from the device. Anyone currently doing something like this who can comment on the performance?

    I'd prefer not to run the Linux distribution from micro SD and instead use the internal HD.

    My reason to do this;
    -Minix neo x7 has un-patched stage fright vulnerability
    -I need an new server.

    I'm pretty sure the 250 firmware patched the stagefright vulnerability.

      Sadly it does not. The developers over at official Minix forums confirmed to me that rockchip will not release a patch. So I think Linux is the only secure retirement package for this device
