I'm planning to install lbuntu and run subsonic and airvideo server from the device. Anyone currently doing something like this who can comment on the performance?
I'd prefer not to run the Linux distribution from micro SD and instead use the internal HD.
My reason to do this;
-Minix neo x7 has un-patched stage fright vulnerabilities (and the developers over at the official minix forums have confirmed to me that Rockxhip will not be issuing a patch.)
-I need an new server.
I figure the device still has good hardware, it's just insecure, so I can perhaps use it as a sever and use my apple tv as a client for airvideo server on Minix box.
