Need Current M8 img file for USB tool

I managed to salvage 4 out of 7 DOA Amlogic M8's using the USB method and an " *.img " file (which uses a different *.img file than the SD card method)!

Only problem is I cant find a current M8 " *.img " file (about 700+/- mb approx) with Kodi 15.2 and/or up! The M8's open up with a "Google TV" logo and have KODI 14.0!

Also as it stands the IR remote doesn't work, but a wired remote will!

Can anyone point me in the right direction for the latest M8 *.img file? thanks.

Let me ask everyone this . . Can I take a working M8, capture the image and then re-write it to these problem child M8's! If so how? and with what?

NO I did not, still have 3 dead M8's! I have since moved on to MXqPRO'S! MUCH quicker!
I have an image for the MXPRO . . .
