Very impressed with this release for tbis device and others can use too. I think i make video of it fully loaded and switching between andriod and linux. Love it so far still playing. This is a demo but its a working demo

Does Kodi in Linux has same passthrough issues for Rockchip devices as in Android? I can try if it is so 🙂. Also, will the device be bricked since OTG will not work after flash?

Ota port will work for flashing. Just mouse didnt work in it. I cant get wifi hook up in linux but i try network next.

I used restore in 1.8 to flash. Takes long time to boot first time. Then your in set up mode. I turned off screen rotation and you need keyboard for first set up. (have to enable keyboard in settings after set up.) you can boot into linux using terminal and reboot ramfs in it. Sd card works but not as system storage yet. I like it so far running smooth.

Network not installed andriod. But works in linux part. Only wifi in andriod just went to test it lol... No wifi blue tooth in linux 😃

Kodi no work in build for linux. I try another build. Something with file systems over lapping. No wifi bluethooth linux. No ethernet in andriod (can be added) wifi works fine.

Ethernet is not shown in mmallow menu, but it should work.
At least on Geekbox it's working fine.

It's latest Linux release from geekbox.
Normally Mac L kodi is working fine.
But he uses Android libs and mounts Android system partition read-only.
Maybe something has broken with dualOS mmallow/Linux.
It's supposed to run on dualOS with Android L for the moment.
Never tested standalone Linux firmware with Mac L kodi, should normally work too.
He is still working on 64 bit release.

WiFi should work on Linux .. bluetooth normally too.
You enabled both ?

Tested a Wasser Rom for Beelink on Geekbox these days.
There are so many differences in "Hardware" setup between RK3368 devices.
All this stuff like sdcard not working, get power via OTG cable .. etc.

Also the powervr rogue gpu driver stuff is not working on mmallow.

All are running the same 3.10 kernel ..anyway.

As you know, you can play with kernel dts files (resource.img) to modify Hardware setup.
It seems every firmware needs to be adapted for each device.

Easy to type its bad with no actual facts maybe take the time to read its a Demo version.... And be constructive not destructive post atual facts of what did or didnt work for you. 😏

Wheres your review with actual facts and issues? Its a beta demo. Easy just to type that now back it up with facts.

That may be why slow response for video on some apps.

Maybe i try change the resource file in linux and marshmellow. Un packing it now to play with for a bit.

Sd card worked but use as system memory locked it up. Network didnt work in marshmellow but did in linux so i change and see. Yes i enabled it as well as bluetooth. I try kodi again once i re flash it but hell of a first start at marshmellow. In flash tool 2 options upgrade and restore if i use upgrade issues seem should be flashed via restore? Using 1.8 but will switch to 2.3 for unpack ect.

No like this rom, why, referred geekbox.tv read a lot post. My time no like wasted. Iam tested, and geekbox.tv pott my opinion,. Iam say this rom, have many issue. Need hard work. This no bad opinion. Netflix and kodi, no working good. When any person post costum rom. need feekback. and ear many opinion. Ionix, excellent,any feekback take note and working.

Its a DEMO, Kodi works confirmed. Netflicks i havent tested. Lets see how it evolves.

Please, Tell me. What version work (kodi). Kodi have many addons, no working in different hardware. Example quasar,pulsar, many skin. Try spmc, new version is 05/01/2016, tell me you experience. Thank You

Within the mmallow release there is official kodi 16.1 preinstalled.
This version is working fine till 1080p - more or less.

Like Scooter2014 said it's still a Demo - not a custom ROM.

If you only like to test Kodi and Netflix you have to wait for rockchip based versions, if this versions will be released at all ?
