Recommend a tablet? With GPS, OTG AND Charging?

Hi All,

Can you help me? I have a Samsung tab s2, a Hudl2, but they do not do what i need.

I am an overlander - travel in a landrover, i use the tablet for mapping - Osmand app, with OSM maps and downloading satellite images so mapping is 100% offline.

I need an android tablet, with google play store, good GPS, HD screen, SD / TF card, with ability to connect a USB hard drive and keep the unit charged at the same time.

I've been thinking a Pipo P9, or P7, as i can connect DC in separately, and use a HDD in USB, plus GPS

Can anyone recommend a better tablet than this? I read in the p9 review thread someone wanting to upgrade the GPS antenna - does GPS suck on the p9/p7? I have the tablet in a dashboard mount so it will no be 'outside'.

Maybe i could use a Simulcharge device with my Samsung? But i don't know if that unit really works to charge and OTG. I got cheap Amazon charge+OTG cable but it only powers the USB HDD.

Perhaps a wireless solution?
There are ways to share harddrives using wifi
If you wish to improve Gps, you could try a GPS Bluetooth dongle

If you seek to connect..more devices and charge, then you probaby need to buy a docking station
