HELP! Using a external (USB) touchscreen on my Android TV box...

Could anyone please help me with the following. I'm using my MXQ Pro s905 with stock 5.1.1 Android firmware. I'd like to control this device with my touchscreen monitor. The video-output (HDMI > VGA adapter) works but the touchscreen connects through USB, Once connected the MXQ does not respond to anything from the touchscreen. However, the MXQ does recognise the touchscreen as a HID device, Vendor ID: 04e7 Product ID: 03eb (See screenshot for further details) The screen is an Elo Intellitouch 2700 and I found some info at https://android.googlesource.com/ker...screen/Kconfig. It seems it can be done but to be honest I could use some help! The Elo site offers a lot of drivers for Linux so maybe these could be used? http://www.elotouch.com/Support/Down...d/Default.aspx Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!!!

The way I got mine to work is to find out what driver is needed. I plugged my Dell monitor into a Windows 10 machine and I identified as a quanta hid device but in device manager. Then ask a dev who has already made a Rom for the device to do a kernel for you. Then take TTY our stock Rom apart with customization tool and replace the kernel. Then dd it in

      Hi all,

i´m facing the same issue with an S905 Beelink Mini MX and an Advanced Silcon touchscreen.

I have al relevant info but no clue, how to patch an Android kernel.

I would be willing working together with a developer if possible.

any suggestion are very much appreciated.
