Initially I was quite shocked to see the gamut of serial ports on the back, especially as the last time I remember using one was with a dial up modem but hen reading the review, I could see it's industrial useage.

Mind you, I would have thought that in this day and age, even this kind of port would have been made redundant by something newer but research indicates that it is very much alive in many a business.
