M8s i have blue power light on front but no hdmi

Trying to sort this for a friend. I will try and write this without laughing. About a month ago her rabbit bit at her power cable for m8s box haha. The rabbit lived. She then says that she put some tape of some sort on the cable and it worked there after. She then ordered another power cable and since then the box does receive power but now no hdmi she says. I have her box here with me and haved tried her power cable in my box and all fine. Ive even tried a couple of spare cables i have which work on mine but also not hers. been reading about different methods of trying to get back on and tried a couple but no good like bootcard maker. Any help would be great thanks and the story is true ha

Sounds to me like your friend tried to do some kind of update and part bricked it. I very much doubt a rabbit chewing a power cable has caused an issue. The other option is that the video output chip has died, again not heard of this happening before. The best thing to do is connect up the serial interface and look at the boot log, see exactly what is happening.

Thanks for the reply but there is no way she could have tried any update or whatever believe me 😆. How would I connect it up?. What would I need? I haven't done that before but I'm pretty good at understanding if you would let me know thanks

I have the same problem no HDMI ... Blue light .but in my case a big hamster chewed on my desire to play with the box and I part bricked it. Trying the wrong software... Can't seem to find an image file that will bring my TICTID m8s+ box back to life . I have a Twrp back up once I can get twrp recovery flashed back on it . usb burning tool is recognising the box.
