How to root?

Hi,
Am I the only that is having difficulties rooting my device. I have a UG007b. I have tried to follow instructions here:

But i'm unable to install drivers from my windows PC to the rockchip device. I try to install manually by pointing the folder where the driver is but it never works. Any advice would be appreciated. Is there a bettre guide somewhere? Once the devide is rooted, how do you flash other roms? Recovery mode? Sorry about my noob questions.

if you use one of the custom roms here on site your device will be rooted ,it's really easy . just follow the directions and you'll be fine .

Make sure USB Debugging is enabled on your mini PC (Settings -> Developer Options)

Connect your RK3188 mini PC to a Windows PC via the USB port.
Your PC should detect a new device, and try to install the driver

download this DriverPack Solution 13 build for DVD universal driver restore dvd from

http://drp.su/download.htm

and run it it will install the missing drivers i have used it on my t428 this is the only way i managed to install the drivers on my windows 8 pc.

if it works let others know as this is a simple solution that worked 100% for me

Thank you for your suggestion. But the link leads to a program that installs full of unwanted crapware.

I still can't go past the installation of drivers. I have tried on 2 different computers. It always says

«Windows was unable to install your RK30sdk»

I have tried many, many, many times. I don't know what to do.

Can someone help?
