Sunvell T95 - Audio Skipping in Kodi, Firmware issue?

    Sunvell T95 - Audio Skipping in Kodi, Firmware issue?

    Hi All,

    I'm fairly new to Android/Kodi so please bear with me. I have just purchased a Sunvell T95 S905 2GB RAM Android box from Amazon and have installed the latest version of Kodi straight from the Play Store (16.0) to play my videos off my NAS. I went for this box because I read online that it can handle X265 10 bit video playback. The T95 is connected to my AVR and Kodi is set up with Passthrough enabled with AC3, DTS and also AC3 transcoding for videos with AAC audio.

    Once everything was set up as I wanted, I fired up a 1080p X265 10 bit video and it played perfectly until I fast forwarded the video. The audio started to stutter every 3-4 seconds, this is both when i fast forward by pressing up on the remote (10 minutes) or if i just fast forward slightly using the right button.

    I thought it was just an issue with X265 videos at first but then it seems to happens to all videos now. It happens about 80% of the time when I fast forward or rewind, the only workaround I have so far is to press the left and right button to fast forward and rewind a few times and then it seems to sort itself out.

    Has anyone else had any similar experiences? I'm hoping its a firmware issue...
