Help required to convert remote.conf from android for openelec

Hi i have recently managed to get openelec working on sd card for Qbox. The only thing that is not working is remote, i have read some guides online to do with lirc etc and recording the remote but have had no success installing kodibuntu working properly on virtual box. If anyone has any experience of doing this I would appreciate your help.

If you have your remote.config file from android all you have to do is copy it to storage/.Config on openelec/libreelec which you can do via kodi file manager and a usb flash drive, once copied just reboot you box and remote should work
