MK808BPlus HDMI Problems

Hello everybody and thanks for the great support in this forum, this is my first post.

I bought a generic MK808B+ HDMI Stick from **** (see below). The device has problems with the HDMI output. I tested with several TVs - some do not recognize it at all, others show a more or less scattered picture, sometimes with false colors or not central picture. Anyway, in case I get an output at all, OS boots up and after about 1 minute the signal gets lost again, then comes back and disappers again randomly.

I´ve also tried different power supplies (>1A) and one (cheap) HDMI adapter. Problems persist.

I even tried flashing alternative ROMs - this went well, flashing was no problem. I ended up with Finless 1.1 which shows the same behaviour.

From the seller I already got a refund, he does not require me to send back the faulty device. Now my question is, before trashing the thing, do you have any idea what I could try further?

Sounds like the HDMI connection to the board is the problem...you could take a solder iron and some flux and touch all the HDMI connections to the board.

You can´t do that on microcontroller boards like this. So -> *kick* -> trash. Going for something more seriously now and looking for a Vega S95.
