How much more powerful is the S905X compared to the S905 non X? Also they finally seem to be moving towards android M!

It's about 25% slower than S905 and the ethernet is 10 times slower, only 100mbps instead of 1gbps on most S905 devices.
So it will be difficult to play 4K with slow ethernet and wifi speeds and also taking into consideration Kodi 4K runs terrible on S905 at the moment.

            I got mxq pro +, with a custom rom sd-robot, it's s905, I didn't have any problems with kodificering

            Why would s905x be slower?

Because it's 1.5 Ghz instead of 2 Ghz CPU speed.
The S905X is a budget version chipset with added VP9 and HDR support, in all other fields it's slower than S905.

All the S905X I've used so far are 2 Ghz, I think there was some false info floating around or maybe a last minute change before they pulled the manufacturing trigger. I tested S905 (Mini M8S) and S905X (Mini M8S II) side by side and both are pretty much identical as far as speed goes.

Here's an article with actual benchmarks. Note that they're comparing the Mini M8S II S905X to the Minix Neo U1 S905, not exactly fair IMO since Minix hardware is obviously higher quality and the eMMC is for sure faster. Soon I'll do benchmarks on Mini M8S and Mini M8S II for a more accurate comparison.

                      Hi...

I bought an enybox X1 box, but the firmware is not original, but a custom firmware from the vendor, there are a lot of bugs. Can you send me the latest firmware of enybox x1?

                      Thanks very much.
