this is the old sdk, look at the date. pretty useless.

😁 I wasnt fooled as its allwiener. They never update or fix devices. Besides i dont have a block of wood to use as door stop so draco has to stay where it is.

whats the problem with uploading the alleged sdk3 onto your "NETWORK DISK"?
i personally think you are just a bunch of unqualified pseudo programmers/technicans. if you really have the sdk, wich i highly doubt, just the f@ck upload it somewhere and let us compile for our own. you are the most dishonest company i have ever seen in my whole live. if you have the sdk, 4ucking upload it now! we know the hardware has thermal/hardware problemd. give us something to work with, otherwise the synonyme for tronsmart will always be biggest liars of all time, not to be trusted.

i downloaded it myself. the file android.part05.rar is corrupt, can not extract the content. ever heard of a thing called checksum? so ridiculous...
the best thing is, even they know about it, they do nothing about it. i wouldnt be surprised if the old sdk was in that archive and they were just trying to fool people again.

Now that my Tronsmart Telos has sat unused on a shelf for almost a year now....

I cannot help but to agree, I keep this part of the forum bookmarked in the hope that some day Tronsmart releases a better firmware or that they at least release the boot loader so the community could make something.

The horrific thing is I got a Shield TV last black Friday and I think I paid just a little bit more for it (50 dollars?) after the controller it almost works out to be the same... and I got the more expensive model 500GB's!!!

Updates are regular, stable as can be fast as can be, can root it with ease if I so wanted. Can switch out launchers if I am so inclined (Leanback is really nice though)

At this point in time I tell everyone to buy a Shield TV over any of the Chinese boxes. Sure it costs more, in some cases way more... but it's so worth it. (Game stream from my PC is just icing on the cake.)

But with the shield you can't upload all the apps you would on google play like aw80.. I've the shield, but i seem it restrictive compared to aw80..

It is restricted to working apps, you can sideload and see if something works for you. Most of the time the apps work just fine.

The AW80 is fantastic hardware saddled with software that is terribly out of date. I don't know what the issue is, and frankly at this point in time I really don't care.

Moved on to better things! (Not that Freaktab has anything to do with it, this web site is fantastic and the work they do here is truly wonderful)

Love Freaktab, just wish I had more reasons to come here more often well that or at least better reasons than to be disappointed that Tronsmart is still clutching to those keys...

My poor JXD S7800 croaked (well wife liked to fall asleep playing games and dropped it like 30 times too many... lol) so I don't even look into the firmwares for that anymore. My Telos is sitting on a shelf because it just pisses me off every time I look at it. (still functions I believe?) My Onda V989 is stuck with Android 4.4.2 or something a custom build I found on another web page... (AW80 chip yesss!!!! wait... it too is stuck on an ancient firmware or also has a bug ridden pile of crap 5.0.... I am sensing a pattern here... I should buy some more AW80 devices to confirm... LOL no.....)

AW80 based devices should be good, but frankly they suck, my Onda v989 Tablet is pretty good thanks to the people who work really hard on CFW's but if I was stuck with the firmware the companies provide I would be shouting from the mountain tops to avoid these products like the plague.... As it is I can only recommend them to people with the knowledge to install a CFW from a PC... AND even then I would say to them they would be better off spending a bit more on a better product.

Tronsmart, please release a final firmware using different decryption keys... Then release those keys so the community can release a firmware based on Cynogen mod or something.
