Spec wise other than the low memory and storage it looks ok and for a cheap box actually has SPDIF which is pretty rare in cheap boxes. I'd be interested to see how this on is.

So I bit the bullet and bought one

Did some initial testing, box turns on when powered. It's fast. Only had it on Wifi, will test further with ethernet.

Comes pre-installed with Kodi 16.1 and all the major addons (SportsDevil, Exodus etc)

Plex appears to run really well even on wifi.

Does the box come pre-rooted? I can't seem to find a SuperSU installer for these S905X boxes on Android 6.0.
