I get reboot loops for the most part. Wondering if maybe there´s some file I have to swap out or god knows what else I need to do to get this system running on my unit...

I should clarify that I´m using the original chinese download as your rom has cwm which won´t display on my mk908 - blank screen. I have no idea what options are there or which to pick as I can´t see them. If I hit Enter on the keyboard it just shuts the stick down as far as I can tell.
Hmm thats weird I mean its essentially the same device as the t428 so I dont see why it would be any different. Im using this to unpack the stock rom - http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/1980...magetools-v21/ - so might wanna give that a try and just replace with the kernel ripped from your stock rom and repack

Thank you I will try it. The main difference between these sticks in my opinion is that most 3188´s, such as the t428 use lcdc1 for video output and the MK908 uses lcdc0. So I can install and boot a 428 rom, I just get no video.

Still can´t get the mk908 to boot this in any way... and holy crap have I tried a lot of combinations of how to switch this rom up - moving boot and kernel.img´s to it, ripping it´s system file and adding that to other stock roms, and maybe even some other things. The best I can get is the googleTV boot screen for a second or 3, and then it reboots, constantly boot looping so to speak. I guess something in this system.img just isn´t compatible with this stick though I´m not sure what it would be. I of course will keep trying but if anyone has any other ideas I´d sure appreciate it.

Thanks for the link to the tool. I had tried that once but it didn´t seem to want to work with the rom I tried it on. It works on these roms so it is helpful. I also have the linux rom mod package and tried same processes with that one and no go...

          You are loosing us

Could it be possible to stop jumping... I mean someone offer a T428 test but immediatly that jump to not installing to mk908. If it is made for T428 could we proceed with it and stop those not installing on other devices and try finding solution one stick at a time!
T428 ,Radxa Rock (RR), cs918s v1.0, waiting for my X7...

Um... pretty sure I'm perfectly in my right to try whatever rom I want on my device... and I don't see the harm in trying to make a new rom accessable to people that may not have the t428 exactly. If my question offends you so much, don't answer it. But get off my back. And you spelled losing wrong.

P.S. How do you propose to stop people from trying new firmware on their tv sticks?

                  Hello JugsteR,

                  I tested the ROM " U30GT 2_V2.04 RK3188 SDK v2.0 ", works completely (WIFI OK), on Tronsmart T428.

I think "house of pain" said it best. jump around!

The reason is that not all of us have the t428! Holy crap....

t428 only or not we still don't have the answer to the main question: Is stuttering fixed or not.

Why are you quoting me for that question? I obviously don't know as I have only an mk908 and have as of yet not been able to test it....
