If you ever have to open the Qbox Trebor secret

Just a heads up Trebor does all these tear downs and I think someone locked him in a room to solve puzzles as a kid. Qbox riddle solved by him.

The tiny rubber ring at bottom of box hides the 4 screws for the top..... Damned if i could find that one was peeking into case with led light on trying to find that pin or release.

Hats of to Trebor for figgering out how to get these devices apart. (minus the hammer)

Trebor secret uncovered for the Qbox.
Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

I took the rubber ring off to access the screws but now it won't stick down properly. Anyone know what to use so that it sticks down like it used to ?

you should have only peeled the corners off, 1, 2 cm, not the entire ring, as that's where the tiny screws are. i've had the box open at least ten times and the corners stick back into place no problems. now, since you had it all out, i'd suggest you clean whatever sticky stuff left on it and then use a double sided adhesive tape cut to size, width and length. that should probably help you stick the rubber ring back on.

also, i've read people around here are opening this box to access the reset button behind the a/v input. that is really not necessary, you can reach that reset button sticking a toothpick or a similar object through the a/v input. i for one use an ear cotton bud, cotton removed of course, as it has a flat end compared to the sharp end of a toothpick, and is also slightly thicker. anyway, i mention this just so you don't open the box in case all you need to do is flash firmware using the reset button. i opened the box as i drilled holes into the sides of the case, changed the wifi antenna position, covered the lights stripe etc.
