Mod for Rbox 8gb Version based on rk3229_5.1-R_BOX-ota_v8-20160628.img

Just a slight mod. Removed all the bloat. Adjusted partitions. Changed boot animation. Added a couple launchers.

Be aware the ota might break or fail to install. I reduced the bloated 2gb system partition down to .5gb. to get some extra space.

Should be about 3.5gb in /data and 3gb in /sdcard

Would this work on the R-Box Plus by any chance?
Also too, is it possible to have 1 main partition instead of splitting /data and /sdcard? So instead, you could have a /boot partiton (if needed) and then the rest would go to /
Is that possible? I always get caching errors inside of Kodi since right now my R-Box has less than 400MB of free space.
