ok guys here is the latest and new jelly-bean 4.2.2 from rikomagic
i took a original rom from rikomagic 18-06-2013 android 4.2.2
saw it here on freaktab from this thread : http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ll=1#post73681


what i have now .

rooted
2 gig app space.(standard) , 4gig parameter included
maked the system.img larger for adding stuff.
added supersu,adaway,youtube
you can choose from 3 launchers
-default stock launcher
-new launcher
-apex launcher

new ui mod , thx to Android Taxi

added bobs buildprop tweaks to the build.prop.
this package is with bobs 4.2.2 kernel720.img and boot720.img.

maked a new bootanimation and bootscreen by myself.

here is the bootanimation.
the bootanimation is sharper on the tv screen

because i dont have it here in belgium.

Since this was the only ROM with the 6 18 firmware in it I installed it on my secondary mk802iiis 8 bt ! So far so good I have watched 1 full movie through nas samba server and it worked no crashes yet ran over night funny though I can't run advanced Task killer it stops right after clicking on! All in all nice work!

I was hoping finless Bob would make a customs ROM for mk802iiis BT but this will work as finless is in there with his inf stuff

Yes i have but with the same mouse pointer. Because thats the original pointer.
Maybe ill change the pointer in the future

When i flash this ROM, I have problems booting and all i see is a blank screen. However, when i tried the official 6/18 version. It is working fine.

Any idea what went wrong?

Did you erase idb.
Because here flash and boot it good.

My steps:
1. Flash official stock 6/18 version
2. erase idb
3. flash your rom

But it did not work. One thing is loader is unchecked by default and i did not check it.

Edit: Tried again, it goes into CWM recovery. When i click on the right mouse button, it reboots and nothing happens after that

i read somewhere here on freaktab that on some tv's android 4.2.2 is not supported.
dith you tried it on another tv.
because im curious if it is that.
for me and other people boot and works it fine.

Unfortunately, I only have a 6 year old Sony HD Ready (1080i) TV at home. Let try if I can test it on another TV.
Anyway, the stock android 4.2.2 6/18 firmware works with my TV but not any other custom android 4.2.2 roms

May not have anything to do with your problem, but I have three MK802 IIIs sticks. All three came from GeekBuying by way of Amazon and outwardly appear to be genuine RikoMagic and identical.

Two of them would flash and boot to NEOMODE's ROM but the third one would not boot after flashing. Looking at the Log File I found the one that would not boot had Hynix Flash and the two that would boot had Micron Flash. Similar to your situation since the one that would not boot (Hynix Flash) would always flash back to factory firmware and work just fine.

Might be work a look in your case.
