Bricked ms8+

I just registered! I have bricked my M8S+ with OpenElec imag. I no longer see the blue light on the front of tv box when its powered on. I get no signal to my TV. I need help but i really know how i must to do. Can anyone help me what i have to do and what i need for to my box work again. I send picutre of my box and where i have buy it.

I cannot see the picture of the board too well. It';s very small. Did you find a solution to your problem with the box not turning on?

I am not sure what you are doing when you upload the picture, so I cannot say.

To get your box up and running again it sounds like you need to use a USB Burn Tool and a male to male (A to A) USB cable

For me I just had to plug the USB into my computer, disconnect the power on the OTT box and plug the USB in. When I opened the USB Burning Tool it connected without me having to use a toothpick to go to bootloader or plug in the power cable to the box.

You will need to find an img file for your box. Below are some links to imgs that will hopefully solve your problem

For mine I had to flash one img file first to get the bootloader and recovery back, then I had to flash another img file for the ROM.

I only have a link for the img file that gave me back bootloader and recovery. I cannot find the link for the ROM. It is one of the links above.

If you find it will not burn any of the above 6 img files, the img file below should hopefully give you back bootloader and recovery and then try one of the above 6 again. I found that worked for me, trying to burn one of the above 6 didn't work until I had the bootloader and recovery working.

It hopefully will at least give you back the blue light, bootloader and recovery. So from that point if you can hunt down the most up to date ROM for your device you might be able to then flash it through the USB Burning Tool or through SD card and toothpick.

Sorry you are right. I thought the ROM was in one of the links but it's not showing anymore. I think you might be able to go to chinagadgetreviews and find the most up to date ROM file for your box. Hopefully it will work. I found none of the ROMs on that site worked for me but my box is a M8S.
