The MeMoBOX MX MAX (http://www.memobox.tv/goods/detail/29.htm) is the first Android TV box I've owned so I am not that familiar with these devices. It replaced my WDTV box.
I bought DroidMote Server from the Google PlayStore (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...teserver&hl=en) and find that it causes the Settings app on this box to crash and the box sometimes freezes or reboots itself. When I uninstall DroidMote, all is fine. I have installed the latest firmware from MeMoBOX. That did not help. I contacted the DroidMote developer and he said these "Chinese" boxes have bad firmware and that's what's causing these problems, not his app. He also said I should be able to cross-flash the firmware from a different brand and that should solve the issue.
Is the app developer correct? I haven't been able to find any info on this model.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
