Unpacking system.img

Hello,
I'm trying to port Remix OS to OTT M9+ box. So far I've adapted a TWRP, and it works (I've fixed the build.prop), now it is time to move to Remix OS.
I'd like to use this official image: sen5_s905_aml_Remix_OS_2.0_package.img as base for the port, I've also extracted the original box firmware to extract modules etc.
The problem is that I can't find any tool to extract the remix os image...
This is the magic number: 0xb03b8db4

Any idea? thank you.

Try using customization tool. Unpack your factory firmware level one. Replace system.img with yours. Then pack back. Restart the customization tool. Then unpack to level 2. Make changes. packback. then unpack to level 1 again. Might work

Uhm, I doubt that this will work. sen5_s905_aml_Remix_OS_2.0_package.img is a standalone image, I need to unpack it to extract system, boot etc.
If you are on a windows machine, can you try unpacking that img please? I'm on linux here.

I've managed to unpack it using Amlogic Customization Tool (As suggested also by another guy). Thank you
