    Beelink R89 input current,

    Hi.
I realised last weekend that my input adaptor is a 5V 2Amps output, but under my beelink it says it need 3 Amps.
Will i get better performance out of the box? aka can it utilize the extra power? or will the extra power only be needed when I put alot of USB devices to the box. (My box lags hard with an Iphone charging from it over USB, and thats how i found out about the input current.

So is there any performance gains from using an adaptor that can give 3Amps, or will I get the same performance on a 2Amps if, I dont have USB devices that draws current?

    Cheers.

The acid test is in using it.

If, without any additional things plugged in that it performs correctly but then does not perform so well with something plugged in then that should answer your question about the fact that 5v/2a can't qupply enough juice to efficiently power everything,

4v/3a won't increase performance itself but, it will more ensure that you get the best out of it because it can draw the required power to cover all circumstances.

I too originally had a 5v/2a with my R28 and I found that some things just didn't seem to perform under load.

Replaced it with a 5v/3a and all the problems went away, so I would say that it would be a wise investment,

      Thanks for your input.
      What was I also thought.
A 5V/3A adaptor was 2,5 pouds on ****, so I bought one, Will report back in 2-3 weeks when it arrive, and tell if I notice an performance increase (Espically under load).
So others also can enjoy the info.
