Enter Key not acting as Enter Key on a lot of firmware

OK when in firmware and using a keyboard. I use K400. On some roms when entering a url or searching and the onscreen keyboard pops up when you press enter it doesnt register as the enter key but whatever letter you are on. Is this a keylayout issue or something in the firmware. Where is it. Can we change this?

It same on 905x devices think it config file looking for it as well... Seems to be default key board setting change default to another and see if fixes it may narrow search for issue.
