Try the T95 firmware it seems to be the best right now.... Maybe with few tweeks we can make work on this one. But might run as lot if boards same wifi network because chipset not support 1 gig network
Many devices now mk902ii/Shield/Mk68 /Ugoos/neox5/minix5 (yes they still work lol) mk80 no it doesnt work lol.

Thanks for the reply. So this will work with a Tronsmart Vega S95 Pro firmware? wifi, bluetooth and ethernet works? How about the remote? Where did you buy your Katabox 2?

btw, I checked the wifi chip for T95 and its a rtl8188.. the closest match i found was the Tronsmart s95 pro and the Beelink MINI MX which uses AP6212 wifii chip

Hey there , I bought mine at SM Mall in Cebu City. Finless is right about the T95 firmware it works the best I have tried out several. The Tronsmart firmware also works and can be downloaded from their website.

If you elect to go with the T95 make sure to get the T95 firmware and not the T95M. The T95 firmware can be found readily online as well. I also noticed the enybox firmware works as well.

As far as finding the Kata Box firmware I have looked all over the internet and have not been able to find it.

how about the wifi chip of the t95? have you tried if wifi and bluetooth working since its rtl8188?
what firmware are you using right now? did you use the zip file update method or the usb burning tool method. Thanks.

Hey there, I am not a Cebuano, I am a Canadian living in the Phils for work. I have had zero problems with the WiFi chip so it appears it is compatible. I used the USB burning tool to flash it over. The USB burning tool can be tricky to use but let me explain how I did it.

                            1. I imported the image into the USB burning tool.
                            2. Then clicked start on the USB burning tool
                            3. It was only after clicking start that I would plug in the USB and the power supply.
                            4. An error will likely pop up, when the error pops up unplug the USB (but do not click stop on the USB burning tool) count to 5 and plug it back in and the error will resolve.
                            5. Allow the burning to finish.

Also, before you take these steps I would highly recommend backing up your current firmware? Are you still using the Kata firmware?

Oh silly me.. I thought you're a Cebuano since I lived there in Cebu during my childhood..
Yup I'm still using the kata firmware. Do you by any chance know how to back up the kata firmware?
What rom are you using now? I'm planning on using the one for the tronsmart s95 pro. Any recommendations?
Again thanks! I'll follow you're steps.
