Been at these 3 boxes for a while now and eventually fixed them
1 with red light now recovery and 2 with blue light no recovery
No pc or soldering chips ect
You need a sd card
Bootcard maker
Cyx_MXQ_8189etv_8g1g_kodi_addons_160126_sd
Simply google the above ( if you cant find it i will upload it )
put the sd card in to the box then after 2minz u will see the bootlogo let it load the screen will be all messed up simply turn off the box and put a pin in to touch the rest button hold it in screen will flicker ect never mind that then let go off the rest button then u will see it installing the firmware controll wont work but there is a rom that u reflash that will bring it all back
