Defective AV port on an MXQ Pro?

I have a 4K HD Smart TV Box S905 MXQ Pro unit and believe its AV port is defective. When I connected the AV port to 3-RCA ports on my old TV set using this 70 CM 3.5MM Jack to 3 RCA Male Plug cable (came with a Z4 L 64-bit RK3368 Octa Core Android 5.1 Lollipop TV Box), the video looks out of sync in Black/White. If I replaced the MXQ Pro TV Box with my Z4 L 64-bit RK3368 Octa Core Android 5.1 Lollipop TV Box, the video is OK. So, this proves the 70 CM 3.5MM Jack to 3 RCA Male Plug cable is OK. Has anyone here encountered this issue and knows how to fix it?

I tried with a lower resolution (720p) and the problem still persists. But, you got me to think perhaps the default settings for the AV port on my MXQ Pro unit is PAL while my TV is NTSC. If this is the case, then is there a way to reconfigure to change the default settings for the AV port on my MXQ Pro unit to NTSC?

Maybe a setting in the box under Video or TV settings and some TV's can have an Auto setting to detect input signal may help.

I did some searches through Google and found this article saying the composite video output is stuck in PAL mode, and the firmware function to switch to NTSC mode got lost along the way somewhere. If so, perhaps dual boot in OpenLEC will bring back the AV port in NTSC mode?

You meant the Video settings under kodi? As with TV set, it is an NTSC format TV.
