Why are there no forums for a31 devices? this site is dominated by rockchip when for some the a31 may be a better choice especially if your main use is video as the graphics in an a31 based device is superior(8 core vs 4 core)

did u get to install 4.2.2 i still cannot go past the boot screen i cannot believe the lack of support for this device i dont think anyone is working on it they sold us the tv sticks and then just ran away i used kitchen and it does not recognize img files i dont know how to edit the roms on this device mind you i dont know much about editing roms in the first place but i managed to play around with kitchen when it came to using roms for my voyo a15 cortex-a15 and the same application did not recognize cs868 roms

I upgraded to the latest stable version of 4.1 as 4.2 is not ready for prime time yet. Then I sold it and kept the cx-919 only because of more rom development vs none for the cs868. Its a shame that it got ignored so far though as the video is better than what mali 400 has to offer.

I have done a All Winner ROM before. It's not too hard as long as you can get the original ROM.

All winner TV sticks just have not been popular though. Not sure why?

hi bob i have a couple different rom i think about 4 of them and the last one which is a 4.2. does not go past the boot screen it stays at the allwinner a31 picture is there a commen reason why roms might not go past boot screen. also i dont know much about roms or cooking them despite all that i went through some tutorials on how to use kitchen. it seems to work with the rom for my voyo a15 which is the same chip as the new nexus 10 cortex-a15 but the same program did not recognize roms for the cs868 a31 also just want to say that i may not be a very bright person but i will still try my best thanks

hey bob do you know what happens to to these guys its like cs868 never existed i cannot believe they stop production and firmware updates just like that and they never had a fully working rom.


hey bob i really dont understand cooking roms my head just does not work that way is there any one who can fix a cs868 rom i would be really great full i did pay $125 for it when it first came out and i bearly used it thanks in advance
