Best s905x box to date?

Now 912 also same and 905. So lets just talk like an adult for a bit.

912 new and always some bugs on first release.

I have 905 running super celeron rom works flawlessly on anything i throw at it. I also have a few other 905 and 905x devices that run very well. Does everything work 100 percent on other devices?? Wanting a device that runs 20 different demanding video profiles that apple windows and other devices run into same issue as new standards in codex set. If you want a device thats almost perfect (as i stated none are 100 percent.) then i can recomnend a few in the 200-300 dollar range.

Go with Known supported devices like minix/nagrace/beelink/ugoos that support the device and fix issues like this in firmware. You will pay normally double what un supported devices sell for though so keep that in mind.

Just so your aware your rant to stop anyone from buying the device wont go far here because you bought a cheap unsupported device and with some help and attention from top notch developers here at freaktab may be solved at some point. Next time look deeper at what your buying and check if the specs are what you want. Reviews by users normally tell alot of what is or is not working.

Tone back your comments as some things in your last post are not tolerated but you seem to be new so we will just try to nudge you in the right direction this time.

Sorry for being so negative, but I f**king hate being lied to. I got screwed over with the Nexbox A5

My advice would be sell it, or get a refund if you're not happy. (and not take your anger out on people that are happy with their S905X Boxes)

Mini m8sII works perfect for me, gets updates and already a security update, no crashes so far and quite quick for my use, already bought a second one for another family member and they are very happy.

Also have a more expensive himedia q5pro which is due for android 7 update soon and good support for this device.

First part of Mini M8S II maybe is good. But currently they changed wifi chip to the AP6212A, which is much worse (slow and unstable) and incompatible with all early roms. So i do not recommend this box.

i currently have the nexbox a5...it does come stock with a pretty horrible firmware..no navigation/notification bar and has lowsy wi-fi..However after finding a custom firmware and reflashing the box, i now have a complete 6.0 rom and full function as i use nova as my launcher. also kodi works perfectly and my wifi gets around 40 meg dowload speed on a 60 meg router in my home. i get over 33,000 score on antutu and also cpuz reports 2016 mhz. this a combination rom and you will loose function of remote but it will turn it on, as i use a logitech k400r keyboard any way. i have had no problem for months now using this rom. i am a very happy camper! Nextbox in my opinion. Had for a month now really enjoyed it so far the only complaint I have is some app games expecting touch and won't let me get further.

That is a real limitation of these tv boxes..sometimes adding a game controller will work for many games, but I dont game so its not an issue with me

If you want a real tablet type android experience, try the mod I previously posted. It has all components for an android 6.0

a near desktop experience and awsome movie playback and streaming on a 50" hd tv is pretty darn good for 50 bucks.and viruses are pretty rare. i never had a problem in android. Had to reset my win 10 machine a couple of times from viruses and it takes hrs to complete. Just saying

I ordered a NEXBOX A95X - B7N Quad Core Amlogic S905X 2Gb/8GB yesterday. A few people I chat with say they are good.
First time with an Amlogic chip but am looking forward to checking it out. If good it will be my first go to choice for others in the family.

If you are unhappy with factory mod, a few posts ago I have a link to a custom mod I have on my nexbox a5. It has notification/navigation bars and I run nova launcher. for a tablet look on my 50"..have fun with it
