Some Benchmark testing of the Beenlink Mini MXIII-II 905X Android 6, 2/16GB
Today I also had an OTA update on the Media player and included was Root so that was a handy addition.

        Standard UI Launcher

        Vellamo Benchmarks

DRM level 3, did some netflix looking good

        CPU Information etc

Ram Test OK, could be better

PCMark score including another Memory test

3DMark Benchmark about average for the 905x cpu

        Full Detail >http://browser.geekbench.com/v4/cpu/489183

        FULL Details > http://browser.geekbench.com/v4/compute/96456

Shut Down Options of the Remote Control

The performance overall is good, Temperatures I did not see 60c at all in the test run so mid 50's so it appears not to be too much of a hotty.
WiFI good at close range, overall, if you need a 2/16GB 905x small compact, Remote working good not to bad at all.
Kodi is installed with a Bit of bloat like most.

Like all test done on Freaktab
A guide to performance with a set program, things may differ slightly.

          Hi trebor,
Beelink Mini MXIII-II TV box and Zidoo X9S TV box which one is the best Amlogic S905X TV box?

Zidoo X9S in Realtek 1295dd chip, different breed,

There is no best they all have their quirks, some better than others
Have a read around Freaktab you will get the idea.

905X has been out for a while now so things are looking better

Make sure whatever you get you have the support of maker, seller,
and a good custom rom if the first two fail
            Cheers

                          Hey, Wifi issue.
                          Router less than meter far.
When connected to its SSD - Internet Fails.
When connecting to other router (far) SSD - works well.
                          Does anyone has a fix?

Just got this box...downloaded the latest update via OTA , the box reboots and reports "error" with the robot lying down...is that update bad, should we download it instead?

also HDR ciips have elevated black (black is gray) but crushed gamma (it is indeed performing some kind of HDR processing, but in a wrong way)... observed in all players (all using the same amlogic hardware decoding library, obviously)...anyone know how to fix that?

If you are too far out of date it won't let you do OTA.

You will need a male to male usb cable and flash the firmware ending in 04 using burning tool, you will then be able to do the 3-4 OTA's after that - links are all on beelinks forum thread about it.

Stuff that annoys me so far about the s905x:

Not possible to write to HDD (fixed with xposed and mm sd fix v2)
No automatic framerate switch for Kodi
Kodi will flat out crash after watching a video if amcodec is selected for hardware accelerated.
Nag screen on boot about a USD hard drive being connected.
Brightness bug (screen is dark until you play a 4k video, then it will return to normal until reboot)
LibreElec atm is sketchy with the wifi chipset

I can see it getting some love at some point, but like all new SOC's this has a host of problems.
                              Currently Using:
2 x Nvidia Shield TV | MiniMX III
                              Retired Devices:
