Be sure loader is unchecked.

To the right of each path line is a button to click to select the file. All of the others should be OK, but the loader must not be recognized. Just double click on that button and browse to the ROM folder where the RK29xxLoader(L)_V2.28.bin is.

You shouldn't have to flash the loader, so uncheck it and see if the ROM will go ahead and install.

and no err. but still won't run

OK, now we know that the tablet is in maskrom mode, which means the NAND has been erased and no longer has the loader installed. That is a good thing that we know which mode your tablet is in.....but it's bad if you got that way without shorting the pins on the NAND chip. In this case, you must check the loader and install it. I've never had to do that before. (I wish Bob was around tonight to take us through this because he's done it a million times).

You need to make sure the path is correct to the loader and check it.

What version of Windows are you running?

I'm running 64 bit...the rktool that Neomode originally used does not work on my PC.

If you are running 32 bit, you might try using his flash tool and see if you can get anywhere with it.

I don't know what else to tell ya, man.....it is definitely bricked...but I thought we could revive it.

Please, by all means...don't smash it or trash it just yet.

You might consider getting a new tablet, though. There are new 3188's out there, and 3066's for a lot less money. Check out Geekbuying.com.

I started out with Arnova tablets...those early models were great, but these newer ones are much better.

have you tried flashing the stock rom ? and i know xp will flash a tablet one of my laptops run xp

i flashed my tablets countless times and never experienced any of that .
