I'm looking for some updated firmware I have 20161210 at this time with AP9377.
Just an interesting thing : we have to use FTMC or SPMC because KODI no longer support AMLogic s912 SOC for now. FTMC and SPMC have some tweak for TX8 S912 SOC like brightness/contrast etc. and all DTS are OK. You can install FTMC or SPMC AND kodi together because FTMC and SPMC are rebranded.
Edit : SPMC had just builded krypton 17.3Last edited by mikele; 13 July 2017, 15:39.

Desperately trying to find the firmware for this box dated 20170418 for ap6255. Two of my TX8's are running this firmware and it is flawless. Need it for the third if anyone knows where to find it or can point me in the direction of how to make a back up image from one of the other two boxes.
Also, it may help owners of TX8 to know that TX92 (3/32), Vorke Z6 [not plus] (3/32), and TX8 Max (3/32 7.1.2 beta firmware from Tanix website) all work on TX8. The latest Vorke Z6 firmware has been the most stable firmware that includes Play Store for me but lacks HD Netflix. It does not reboot or suffer app crashes like the previous firmwares from Tanix and Vorke but I will say the beta build for the Max has been the most stable but is lacking MANY features as well as Play Store (which can't be installed). Hopefully when the final build is released for TX8 Max it will still work on the original TX8 2/32.
Thanks in advance for any help!
