    TicTid M8s (Board KCA-003 Ver:v1.0 Date:150422) Wont launch.

I have been having some issues with this TicTid box over the last month and it final shot craps on me a couple days ago.
The initial problem was poor network connections with random drops and complete box reboots.
A couple days ago the box just went into a reboot loop.
It would show the M8s logo for about 3 minutes then reboot.
On a couple of occasions it would actually hang on the M8s logo and not do anything unless power was cycled.

After doing a bunch of research I found a rom on a Russian website that appears to be for this board. I tried to reflash via the SD card with no luck. I then found an image of the same rom and flashed with the USB Burning tool.
The burning tool got me a little further. It would pass the M8s logo and goto the MediaBox logo but it would freeze at the MediaBox logo after 30-45 seconds.

Finally I downloaded a TWRP image for the N200 board and used N200-ota-20150728.zip and installed the Zip via TWRP from the external SD card.
After completing the flash the box booted and even launched but it reported the wrong memory size. It was only showing 4 instead of 8 gigs internal memory.
I reflashed the box with a TWRP backup of another one of my boxes.

After the restore flash the box has had a couple of unique issues.

While I haven't removed the heatsink, DriodInfo reports the processor as an AmLogic 812s and the AP6330 network chipset can be seen in the photos below.

    1) I can no longer install from the external SD card. I can boot TWRP but if I try to mount the external SD card it shows it has 0bytes.
    2) No matter which version of TWRP I have installed it only see 4 gig of internal memory so I can no longer install the backup I made of the box when it worked with the N200-ota-20150728 flash.

Any help on getting my box back up and running would be greatly appreciated.

      I have watched your videos.
That is where I came up with the file which worked on the box but only showed 4 gig of memory.
I however was not able to get the box to load after flashing the file via boot card or USB Buring tool.

When the box came to life I was able to flash my sd card with TWRP and your Zip file.
I booted to TWRP via the recovery button and then selected to install your file without md5 checking.
I tried to reflash the box with another ROM and since then I have not been able to flash directly from the SD Card in TWRP.
TWRP will boot into recovery but it will not mount the External SD Card to read the roms on the card. I have had to install the roms onto a USB stick and install from there.
There seems to be an issue with the ROMs being on the USB stick as the flashing process is no longer as smooth as it was when flashing from the SD Card.
I have noticed the flash process hangs and seems to error out on files that I flashed from the SD Card without issue.

Is there a means to format the memory/nand then do a fresh reload?
It acts like one of the prior roms is being held in memory and causing me a bunch of errors because the internal memory is only showing as 4 gigs and this doesn't allow me to flash the working backup of the box or most any other rom because it exceeds the memory size being reported.

Still looking for help if anyone has any info they want to share.
I contacted the vendor and was informed that the manufacturer wont release the firmware as it is a trade secret
Don't know what secret they are trying to hide, but I thought android systems were suppose to be open......

Anyways here are some of the latest things I have figured out.

        1) I can flash about any image to this box that I want. Granted they may not boot past the logo screen but this box doesn't seem to trip the board type checks.
        2) After flashing be it from SD Card, USB Stick, Burning rom, etc... the partition memory is always reported wrong in TWRP. Most times TWRP doesn't see the partition memory unless I change the memory format to EXT4 or DOS.
        3) After changing the partition memory format in TWRP I can usually boot the box but after a short time the partition will change formats from EXT4 and DOS to an unknown or unreadable format. When this occurs the box locks up and is no longer flashable from the SD or USB slots. The only way to flash is via USB Burning.

        So questions.....

        1) Why do I need to change the partition formats in TWRP to get the memory recognized?
        2) Why does the internal memory report the wrong size? This box is a 2/8G box and it shows up as 2/4g
        3) What image should I be flashing to the box initially to get it working? I have been using JustMe's burnbootcard complete package and the aml_upgradepackage_s802_2GB image. The only thing that I question is this image is listed as a n200c board image and my box is supposed to be a n200 board.
        4) Am I using the wrong image for USB Burn and causing the partition errors?

In general I am open to ideas and willing to try about anything as the vendor will not supply me with the stock firmware and the only option I have is to return the box for a partial credit...... ya right!
So I am game for trying about anything, even letting the magic smoke out if I can't get this box to work!!!
