Nexbox A95X (S905X). Two questions.

Hello,

I just bought a nexbox A95X 2/16 and I'd like to install the Frankenstein mod.
It doesn't have a reset button (the hidden one).

I'm a newbie with these kind of boxes I admit.

From what I've gathered, I have to install TWRP in order to install the mod fw ?

Anyway, to install TWRP, I've created a dummy.zip file + recovery.img (I got that IMG from here: http://www.memoryleaks.org/libreelec...twrp.s905x.img). I launch Backup&Restore, Select, etc. Then the box reboots and TWRP is loaded.

The thing is when it reboot to TWRP, I have to swipe the menu with the mouse (the remote doesn't work)... Problem is I've connected my corded mac mouse but it doesn't work.

I guess I'm missing something but I don't know what: how do you connect a mouse to the box ? You need a bluetooth one ?

Here comes my second question. After TWRP is installed, how do I have install the mod FW ?

First, mac/apple doesn't work well with anything other than mac/apple. Try and find a "regular" corded mouse for windows....borrow one from work/friend or buy one if you have to .

Second, The Frankenstein FW isn't designed to be flashed via recovery. It has to be installed via USB Burn Tool and your PC. I also have the Nexbox A95x (S905x) no reset button so, check out my post here http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...117#post594117 on how I got Frank mod flashed.

Thank you ladyjack. It took me two months to find time to try the box and indeed your post works for the S905X. :-)
