    T95N Mini M8Spro 2GB Firmware 5.1.1

    Edit: 10/10/2016 Currently using pre-rooted Firmware from Banggood:

    Firmware Link:

    If using the USB burning tool, do not use the power adapter, all that is needed is the power from the USB port.

    ------------------------

    China Gadgets recently uploaded the stock Firmware for the T95N M8Spro 20160709:

    http://chinagadgetsreviews.com/downl...i-m8s-pro.html

    I have the iNepo pre-rooted with the same board and build id:

    p201_tn2

    LMY47V/20160709 test-keys

    Kernel Version: v3.14.29 it01@ubuntu #3

    The T95N is working great, including wifi, Bluetooth, and Ethernet. Currently using the T3 remote by Keenest.

    ? n00b question: I would like to install TWRP Recovery on the T95N, can anyone direct me to the image file for this box?

      Looks like you have a thread of your own.

      Since you got my attention, thanks for the donation, can you provide me a few things so that i can retribute the favor
      Code:
      From PC do :
      adb root ( if ADB isn't root)

      adb shell cat /proc/partitions > partitions.txt
      adb shell ls -l -R /dev/block > block.txt

      Now where you open the terminal window are two txt files sent them to me and stock recovery

      From Terminal Emulator do :

      su
      cat /proc/partitions > /sdcard/partitions.txt
      ls -l -R /dev/block > /sdcard/block.txt

      Now on your internal SDcard are two txt files send them to me and stock recovery
      if [ $up.post.type = $type.two.lazy.to_use_google ] || [ $up.post.type = $type.silly_question ];
      then mv $user.contact.up.post /.trash; set response($response.type = ignore);
      $user.up.post.ignore_in_future = true; fi;

        lol, ya I should've kept the firmwares in one post.

        I tried to get the .txt files you requested but the adb drivers are not seeing the box. In device manager it always shows Unknown Device, never Android or ADB Interface. I uninstalled Amlogic Burning Tool and the libusb Worldcup drivers. Then I uninstalled all USB drivers with USBDeview.

        With a fresh start, installed latest ADB/Fastboot Installer v1.4.3. Opened Device Manager and on every connection would get Unknown Device. Tried several PCs and usb cables.

        Double checked the box and cables by reinstalling USB burning tool with drivers, opened the tool, connected the T95N and it would recognized it. The drivers from USB burning tool are also not recognized by ADB. Device manager sees it as libusb WorldCup Device and can't open it with ADB.

        One last FYI, it would only connect by USB power only, when the power cable was connected, no joy.

        Anyway, the box works great just no original firmware backup. At least I have the backup of some system files like remote.conf.

        If you know a work around I'll give it a shot, but for now BEER.

        Thanks for all your work

          Jethro use my adb gui I developed for windows while back, link is in my signature or do freaktab search "ADB GUI"

          also when installing usbBurnTool make sure you install world cup drivers when installing and give permissions if needed

            Another thing to try is connect remotely.
            Open terminal on PC
            Connect box throw Ethernet and take note of the IP address.
            Issue command adb connect IP.OF.BOX
            Watch out for a window prompt on the box, and allow it.
            adb should show connect message.

              Thanks for the help, but it's the usb cables or PC. I have 2 very old cheap ****, a-to-a cables that were used for an ebookman reader. I connected an older m8s with burning tool open, the first cable would connect but only for a few seconds, the other cable shorted the box with windows connection error. The gigabyte ultra motherboards have a lot of juice to the USBs so maybe that's the problem. When I have time I'll connect the m8s to an older PC with new cables. Anyway, the T95N 2G rocks.

              Off topic; If Sony's new live channel with free cloud dvr (psvue.com) is ported over to Kodi with a guide, it will be a game changer for cable and dish companies, ustvnow doesn't even come close.
