    Kodi issues on S905x boxes?

    Hi guys,

I've tested a couple of S905X boxes (the latest being the ENY EM95X) and each of them have a problem with Kodi quitting back to the home menu every so often. It can happen either when flicking through menus or watching something and even when it's just sat idle.

I read somewhere a while ago (can't remember where) that it may be an issue with Android 6.0. Does anyone have the same problem or a possible fix? Been having a look around the latest firmware for the ENY box but can't see anything obvious (to my untrained eyes).

Had the same issue. Installed SPMC and it fixed all my problems.

If you want a good Kodi build for SPMC. This is what I am using for the moment: https://www.facebook.com/OxyGen-H20-1734640866782905/

I am using both SPMC and a Kodi 17 nightly build and they both quit back to the home menu especially after playing a video.

Thank's guys. Is it an issue with a codec driver then that isn't compatible with Android 6.0?

Can we manually update this in the firmware?

Personally I haven't experienced this issue on the M8SMini II, and I've used 3-4 of them.

Is this standard firmware or custom?
