We can get Ethernet fixed if needed. I don't use Ethernet, so it was an afterthought. I have a bad habit of doing that with firmware, I don't regard what I don't use; and it's worse when there are no testers. When there's testers everything can be confirmed, since it's not just one person doing all the building, tweaking and testing, which quickly becomes a very time intensive task.

Yes, please add Ethernet....The ugoo rom works better with Nexbox Z68..USB port works, I liked Unified storage, did the wi-fi fix..even though only can get 2.4G, speeds are decent 35mps up & down on 100 M line..Thanx again for your effort!!

No problem, try this one: https://mega.nz/#!mcIA3DwT!CmROAQ7jS...iI2QdwZk4VJ9jc

I don't have the Z68, so please let me know how the changes work. Keep an eye on CPU speed and temps; all voltages are lower than factory stock settings for each of the DVFS regulated components, but it's always best to be sure.

            Thanx notshomari,

Everything works on the Z68, ethernet, wi-fi, google play, nified storage, no reboots and even the remote works..Antutu score was over 32,000..the other two mods would reboot during testing...the Ugoo kodi works great though I have not tested for passthrough with sound...this rom offers a lot more than stock with faster CPU/GPU/DDR Optimized effienciency...best combination I have tested..Kudos to you and thanks again...Maybe it should be posted on the Z68 forum so you can get more testers...

Nice. Thanks for testing. I'll consider updating the firmware with further customizations in an upcoming release; my custom firmware should be able to get further performance improvements, but for now - enjoy this version.

Hi! What wifi chip does this use? Is it ap6335 or ap6330?
Im happy with lonix or wasser firmwares but they dont do:
                5G wifi
                RK graphics acceleration.
âi read somewhere that yours do both

Hi Guest, I did try your work and am reporting back to you. The test device i68 (G for gigabit version) operates nicely out of the box - 5G Wifi + it seems that RK video acceleration is working in Kodi as well.
Where it seems to glitch is:
                      a) performance in all environments (but most noticeably in web video playback on browser) freezes for a second or two. Mouse stops working and video video freezes and then resumes again.
                      b) audio playback hangs after a while (both video and music audio) and generates this digital tv audio glitching sound. If you stop for a minute (cool-down period for android to shut down audio device with no signal) it starts back just fine until it does the same again.

Interestingly enough CPU and RAM does not exceed 20% and 50% respectively when this happens.
Could it be because of those overclock values and stock power adaptor not being able to feed the thing? (I read this observation somewhere else by you)

I would appreciate if you could help me tweak those overclock values since this is the best FW so far. Can I test it somehow? Kernel auditor perhaps? (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ladiutor&hl=en) What would you suggest to try?

Lonix firmware is also great, but it doesn't allow for 5G wifi and RK video codec.

...if this firmware worked for your device, I suggest you try the new implementation which is much improved in terms of stability as the overclocking is done in a much more logical fashion. Get it here http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...tacore-release

Thank you for the feedback, I haven't ever had this issue, but you are on a different device, so it is a wonder it even ran at all. If you try that one and it runs faulty on your device, we'll mod it to make it work. I have no problem doing that aslong as users report feedback and are willing to test.

                          Thanks!
The ROM works almost perfectly since the hardware is identical. I'll try it out and get back to you as soon as I get the chance.
