    Custom ROM for MXQ S805

Hi, I have a MXQ S805 box (all black) and I'd like to install a custom ROM. i have tried to install Lollipop Acemax, but the box doesn't turn on. I used this TWRP recovery http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...logic-mxq-twrp. Is there a custom ROM that works for this box? Thank you

    Hello,
first: thank you for using my TWRP port
Well, I'm working on a custom rom for our MXQ S805 that will remove all illegal pre-installed stuff and enhance security (using SuperSu as SU binary), but I can't give you an ETA for the release.
Also it will be based on the same stock (4.4).
I'd like to try to compile/port some new (5.x/6.x based) roms but atm I don't have enough skills, sorry

According with your username, I think you're Italian like me

In this (http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-...793#post595793) post seems this guy installed successfully this ROM on his MXQ, but on my one it stays on Freaktab boot image and doesn't turn on.

        Yes, you're right, I'm Italian.
There are some different models named MXQ, some of them have different board revision for example, or different WIFI/Eth chipset.
If you want, we can try together to make this rom bootable on our box, but I can't guarantee you that we will success.
Maybe it is just something wrong with the boot.img. I'm downloading the rom right now.

I repeat: I can't give you any guarantee, and also make sure that you have a male-male usb cable in case of brick!!!!
