official firmware with root
This is the official firmware Nexbox A95X 2 / 16gb UPDATE 20160824. The only change I made was to add root, the rest remains untouched.

Hi gvflavio, The root worked fine, but after I chose "Reset to factory defaults" the box booted to recovery only. I had to reflash it. Didn't try to reset it again.

Flashed, set up the box again and pushed reset again. The same happened, green robot with Erasing... text and recovery bootloop.

Okay, I'll try to solve it. After the flash firmware your device works well?

Otherwise yes, till now I haven't faced any problem. Additionally OTA started to work and updated it to the 20160923 version, which is rooted by default, but I think it is not correctly rooted (I couldn't download directly to SDcard which I could with yours), so I reverting back to your rooted firmware to test it further. Maybe you can investigate that version too, maybe it works for you (2G/16G).
