    Kodi skin flicker

    Hello,

I wonder if someone would know the cause of the flicker which only seems at the confluence skin level.

    Code:
This is "IMG_0527" by satay epic on Vimeo, the home for high quality videos and the people who love them.

I've this Xtereamer Multiconsole based on - Processor: RK 3188 Quad-Core Cortex A9 Processor (1.6GHz) GPU: Quad-Core Mali 400 running Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2. I installed Gotham 16. I use an air-mouse provided with this device. The flicker doesn't happen with Kodi 12.x but it will on any version above 12.x. The flicker doesn't happen outside the skin. I read somewhere that there maybe Mali GPU patch but not sure if it's related to the flicker. This box is actually a clone of X7.

    Any idea?

    Thanks

Old device + no firmware updates = no working Kodi
Also the RK3188 was discontinued 2 years ago.
    You might try SPMC v14
If that doesn't work, it's time to get a new device.

Thanks guys. I tried the options as suggested but no avail. Something was changed in > 12.x Kodi at the skin level which may require some tweak maybe for Android devices.
        e.g http://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Modify_dirty_regions

Tried a few combinations but didn't help.
