HI, I tested all ROM, and I found the best ROM for TRONSMART T428 (for me)

Now what is the latest ROM version (Link please)

I updated to Finless 4.2.2 1.5a (Dated 6/1/2013)
Any other recommended?

Have bluetooth problems (with ANker Mini Keyboard) and wifi signal is bad on the Tronsmart T428

It's a new departure - a second-gen sdk2 rom. Out of the box it runs on the T428. Swap in Strauzo's 908 kernel, and it runs on the 908. WiFi is quite good, not as fast as the first two in my previous post. And it's not quite stable yet. At this time, you're better off for a daily driver with those other two. Fast roms, great wifi.

But the new sdk2 rom is the wave of the future.

Disclaimer: I realize this ROM is in early stage and buggy.
I tried the suggest ROM and could not adjust any Screen options in settings. I could not resize the screen and the bottom buttons were off the screen. It would not respond to resolution change either for HDMI. It also felt to much like a phone brand ROM.
This was a deal breaker for me.

So there have been many updates to the currently existing roms and some new one(s). Have you tested the newer T428 Nexus Rom? Which have you found to be best for gaming? 720p is Perfect. Don't Have 1080p Monitor/TV anyways.

Yes, it's still buggy. I do believe that, for the 908, the best rom/kernel combo right now is Finless T428 Alpha Test with the kernel from his Finless1.4 rom for the 908.

This is an Android 4.1.1 solution which is recognized to offer the best wifi currently. It's also very fast and stable. And if you use the 1.4 kernel you'll have screen size/HDMI adjustments in settings.

I tested with Amo-navix, film tim burton "Corpse Bride" in streming HD 1080p, for 30 minutes :

this is the best result, I had now, synchro audio/video : OK, the video almost perfect

DROIDMOTE : OK, XBMC : OK, adobe flash player : OK ( firefox browser ),everything works ...

I used the T428 Tronsmart during +/- 6 hours, neither bug, neither reboot.

The tronsmart T428 remains cold for a normal use.

For those who want to install the ROM " cx919_422_finless14.zip ", in the Tronsmart T428 :

I replace the file "kernel.img", to ROM "t428_finless16_alpha_test",

in the ROM CX919_4.2.2_Finless_14.


I'm just a beta tester.

For added security, you must ask Bob or Strauzo or others developers, because there is always a risk.

The problem with this ROM for me is it has no place in settings to Zoom scale or HDMI resolution the video. Just font size.
