    Mk808b freeze please...help !

    Hi,
my mk808b are freezing at ramdom times, tried with finless 1.7 and now with 1.6...bought from geekbuying, checked and looks original.

The freeze happens sometimes at the browser, movie or any other app...make a sound like a interference and everything stops, with the last screen on and without boot, then have to unplug the power out and on to restart.

No usb hub, no hdd, no sd card, just a wi fi mouse dongle plugged.

I can just figure out thats overheat or i m wrong?

    Any help will be great...

    hi,
touch our stick after freeze, because you mean its overheat?
When yes build a aircooler for the stick.
I use to pc aircooler, but the stick in the middle and think self my english is not good enough

Or you need an other usb charger, because 1. chinese, 2. energyhungry stick that meany.

Or all you connect throw the usb eat energy from the stick? Usbhub with no own energy?
Then change. The usbhub need a own energycable. The stick is hungry.

    Hope one of this help

      ....

Firstly i thought that was a overheat but ....

Now i dont know, this morning after hours turned off, that freeze at the first boot of the day then couldnt be a overheat...

Maybe is the psu, as many others here , talk about the problems with power.

Anyway my psu should get 2A and i dont have a usb hub or nothing .....

i will try another psu with 5v and 3amp.

      Tks

For your reference in case you decide to change it to another power supply for more stability, you should have a PSU that is able to provide 9 watts of power (5v 2 amp seems about right,). 5v3amp might put some fuses at risk, but if it solves your problem then it's all good. rock on.
