USB Hub - Powered or Normal?

    Hi,
I ordered a CX 919 last week. Once I get it, I plan to hook a couple of external hard drives, wireless keyb oard, webcam etc. So should I look to buy a powered USB hub or will a normal hub without external power supply work.
    Thanks.

    The USB hub

Its a very simple question with a very simple answer. Spend the extra money on a powered hub. Your going to need it..period.

If you don't have a hub yet, the only thing I would plug into the usb port, is a wireless mouse/kb dongle, and that's it. Anything else will give a much greater chance of lockups, or reboots.

          any recommendation on powered hub?

I bought one from geekbuying without adapter but with 3.5mm plugin socket for external power. Really disappointed, not even sure if that socket is connected to the e-board inside.. :S

I'm using non-powered without problems. External hard drive doesn't work (of course), but for mouse/kb etc is fine
