    25 FPS issues

    Hi

I'm new to Kodi and I'm a having a problem I hope someone can help me with. Most of the new TV shows I try t watch play at frame rate of 25 fps and I'm getting lots of stuttering on default settings. I have a MQX Pro 4K box (build p201-userdebug 5.1.1 LMY47V 20160509 test-keys) and a Panasonic TV 50/60HZ, my wifi is100Mbps in the room with the box. When I bring up the video stats when playing the vq drops in the first few seconds and then bounces from 5-0 at which point a skip occurs. This isn't improved when selecting auto refresh in Kodi. When I disable amcodec the vq stays around 90% and I don't get any skips but I get a drop about every 20 seconds. The only display options on the android system are auto, 1080p 60HZ or 720p 60HZ and switching on HDMI self-adaption seems to make no difference. 23.976 FPS have the same drop in vq and the stats say there are drops but I don't see them when watching. Is there anything else I can do to fix this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Paul

    Get a tv that supports more frame-rates like 24, 25, 30, 50, 60hz.
Also the MXQ Pro box is garbage.
You can try to enable 'sync playback to display' in Kodi Playback settings so all videos get played faster at the refesh rate of your tv.
