Wifi Connection Problem with mk908

I bought 2 MK908 devices

And with my luck with both of them i got WIFI problems.

The problems i'm getting is no internet connections or internet connection goes on/off

is there any fix?

If your 2 sticks have same problem you should check your router setings.

My router settings are ok.
My smartphone working great with this router.

Even tried other router, same problem.

hi,
i have similiar problem very bad wifi with mk908 but work great with smartphone.
I fix it when i change the chanel of my router..
Try to change your cchanel setting in your router change to chanel 6 or 11 and check if it's better.
For me it's ok after change chanel.

Was already in channel 6, change to 11 same thing.

Are you using any 2.4 GHz items or bluetooth with or around any of your AMPs? (i.e. wireless mouse, keyboard, etc) I had a wireless mouse/keyboard combo that I was trying to use with one of my AMPs that I discovered was causing majour Wifi interference.

i use bluetooth keyboard and mouse

is there a way to check if they are causing the problem with out buying a new set of
bluetooth keyboard/mouse ?

My Wifi connection also dissappears as soon as I connect a bluetooth device.

what you can try
- connect a wired keyboard/mouse
- try usb ethernet instead of wifi
- try using your smartphone as input device instead of keyboard/mouse

ok i'll remove all bluetooth devices connected to the mk908
and i will install this app on the mk908
will see if the bluetooth causing the wireless problems

just an FYI, the latest tronsmart rom (06/14 - http://blog.geekbuying.com/index.php.../#.UdU2lzu1GSo) mentions a fix to bluetooth. The fact that Wifi and Bluetooth are on the same chip in the MK908 might be the root of the problem and only fixed recently. Unfortunately, Finless hasn't gotten around to updating his rom to use the new tronsmart components. Unless you switch to the newer tronsmart rom, you will probably continue to see issues when using Bluetooth and Wifi.

I also had problem with bluetooth/wifi on my T428. I don't know if it is possible to have 802.11n working on 5Ghz only. For me I use 802.11ac on 5Ghz (only T428 have ac) and everything work very well. You can also change chanel on router, and maybe try in N only (no b/g). I also find if I keep my cellular in my pocket (bluetooth always on) bluetooth act erratic, so I put it at least 10 feet.
