Maybe keeping the kids from messing around? No sure really but I wanted to see if that was important?
My personal belief is some do not want to install drivers and flash using flash tools?
If that is the case (you don't want to flash and hassle all that), I actually can make an update.img that is NOT FULLY ROOTED (but will be semi rooted) AND with Google Market pre-installed. Semi rooted means you still cannot write to /system.
Having a stock update.img means you can simply copy update.img to the SDCard and let the tablet update just like a manufacturer update!
Are some looking for that?
Answer the poll and let me know.

P.S. in order to be fully rooted you will NEVER be able to use a update.img from a SDCard. You will always need to flash via a PC flash tool. This is due to the structural changes needed to get full root.
But if you do not care to ever write to /system, a semi root allows good device access but the protection from messing up the system by not having RW to /system.
